Culinary Arts at the Art Institute of Phoenix, Arizona
Chef Leible began his career with The Art Institute of Phoenix in 1996 as an instructor and was quickly promoted to Assistant Academic Director of the Culinary Arts Department. In his new role of Academic Director, Leible will oversee the department’s faculty members, aid in curriculum development, and manage The Art Institute of Phoenix’s industry- and market- focused curriculum.
Chef Leible has been recognized as a Certified Master Chef by the American Culinary Association and is the only chef to hold this honor in Arizona. He is also a certified culinary judge and has competed in many culinary competitions. His credits include two Gold Medals from the Culinary Olympics in Frankfurt, Germany, various gold medals from local culinary competitions, a Journeyman certification in Culinary Arts from the German Chamber of Industry & Commerce and a Baking Journeyman’s Certification from Franz Oestreicher & Son, Germany. Prior to joining The Art Institute of Phoenix, Leible served as Executive Chef for various fine dining restaurants including Sazzoni’s Restaurant, the Royal Palms, Paradise Valley Country Club, and A Different Pointe of View.
