Michael NenesChef Nenes began his career with The Art Institute of Houston in 1992 when he was recruited to initiate the Culinary Arts program. In 1993 there were three culinary programs; today EDMC has twenty culinary programs with over six thousand students. In 2003, Chef Nenes became the Assistant Vice President – Culinary Arts General Manager.

Chef Nenes earned an MBA from Jones International University, B.S.B.A. degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management from Thomas Edison State College and a Diplôme Culinaire from the New England Culinary Institute. Michael has been certified by the American Culinary Federation as a Certified Executive Chef and a Certified Culinary Educator since 1991.
Prior to joining The Art Institute of Houston, Chef Nenes had owned and operated successful restaurants in Houston, Texas, Fairbanks, Alaska and Vail, Colorado.
